The New Facebook option is a lite version that is much more sparse and loads much quicker.

Developed for slow internet connections, now anyone who gets on line will be able to enjoy the experience of social interaction on Facebook.

I am just predicting this but I think it is a very safe bet that this new Facebook option is going to be a huge hit for not only the beginner but everyone over the age of 45.

Not everyone has the time to hang out on this type of site, but still want to have an account. The problem with the full featured Facebook is it takes some time to learn it. It has a learning curve.

With the apps stripped from this version it is much faster. Currently only available in the US and India, Facebook intends to expand the country list.
