Hotels Primm – Buffalo Bills Primm Review
I took the family to Buffalo Bills Primm Casino this past week.
The cost for 2 nights was only $44 because like Las Vegas, Primm is also in the economic tank. Fortunately I booked through a broker and the deal included 2 free tickets to the Chris Isaak concert. This saved the vacation, and was definitely the highlight of the trip.
In terms of hotels primm here is the review. At check in the line was short. They didn’t tell us where things are, when check out is, where to get the concert tickets or any welcome packet of any kind.
The room faced the street. We requested pool view but were not changed. The first impression when entering the room was it was warm as the air was off and it stank. The view was of the highway and roller coaster. The windows were very dirty.
Downstairs we went back to registration to inquire about the promised concert tickets. We were told to be in line first come first serve at 10 am the next morning over the buffet. There is an elevator there to get to it. Next morning at 9:30 I could not find the elevator. It was not where the employee had said. A visit to the check in counter pointed me to where it actually is. Once the ticket distribution began, I made my way up to the table and they could not find my name. They asked for my players card which I didn’t have. The woman glared at me as if how dare I don’t belong to players club, I would have to get my tickets at the ticket counter on the other side of the casino at 10:30. Again I waited until 10:30 at the ticket area. I explained my tickets were part of the package deal. Suspiciously this lady asked more about it, then told me to come back at 2:00. This is when they would have “the list”.
I returned at 2:45 and fortunately had the same lady serve us. She remembered nothing of our conversation, so I filled her in again. She glared and got up. She checked her list and I was on it. She then became friendly.
Buffalo Bills Miss Ashleys buffet. $10.95 per person. Very good food.
The amusement part rides. It cost $30 per person for adults and $12 for little kids. They have the famous Desperado roller coaster, a log ride, a drop ride, 2 virtual rides and a little frog drop ride for the little kids. The big drop ride was closed, as to not enough people. well I asked why the price for the day pass wasn’t discounted then. No answer. The rides are fun, but maybe not worth the price.
The buffalo shaped pool is shown on the terribles primm website as having a water slide. My kids were looking forward to it. When we went out to swim there was no water slide. It had been long disassembled. Pretty dishonest of the hotel primm not to update a simple photo.
We decided to monorail over to Whiskey Petes for dinner the second night. Buffet was closed and empty. Not really sure it is ever used anymore. So we headed out to this hotels pool. Closed with a sign to use the buffalo bills pool.We ended up eating at the Primm Valley hotel buffet. It was good also. So good in fact that we would go there for breakfast the final morning but…
Final morning was checkout on a Thursday. We headed for the buffet at Primm Valley. Closed with a sign to go to Buffalo Bills Miss Ashleys.
Conclusion. Vegas along with Primm are cutting service and staff drastically. they over built and developed a greedy attitude during the housing bubble. Now it is gone and they are bitter about it. We did a lot of running around because they don’t communicate to you things being closed and it was hard to find anyone who could be labeled friendly. I can’t say I would stay there again. It wasn’t a great time but the concert tickets made all the difference. Chris and the band put on a great show.
